HMTV crew members LEE KALT, MALINDA CARLTON and EVAN KALT arrive in LA Friday evening. Dinner was served Friday night to the hungry travelers at the restaurant GJELINA on Venice Beach. Tables at this smart little culinary masterpiece could passably be the hardest to get in all of LA. The highly coveted garden tables are nearly impossible to get your hands on without a reservation at least 3 months in advance. Up and coming actress TANYA TATE, joined the crew for dinner where they dinned on a delightful array of gourmet dishes comprised of SoCal's finest local and organic ingredients.
The HMTV crew had the pleasure of being the first honored guest to stay at V-MODA's new Sunset Plaza compound in the Hollywood hills. The ultra modern pad gives guests 5 bedrooms to choose from, each room having V-MODA goodies waiting for guests on the bedside tables. The bedside gifts included the companies slick new white M80 over the ear headphones as well as V-MODA's newest piece of audio technology, THE VAMP. If you think shelling out $600 for a new iPhone 5S is crazy, how about another $600 for an iPhone case.
THE VAMP, an iPhone case, does 2 things other then doubling the price of your iPhone. House Music TVs September residency night at SBE's COLONY was nothing short of extraordinary. LEE KALT and HOUSE MUSIC TV fans had mobbed the door by 11 pm making it nearly impossible for the HMTV crew to reach the velvet ropes. Even the side door to XIV was swamped as LEE KALT plus entourage were shuffled past the crowd and paraded to the booth surrounded by security guards leading the way with LED 
flashlights. TANYA TATE showing lover for her favorite DJ made an appearance at COLONY along with actresses KENDALL KARSON, PRESLEY HART, ALEX CHANCE all in toe. The sexy crew joined by MALINDA CARLTON held down the VIP table behind the DJ booth. TANYA TATE who hails from the United Kingdom felt right at home when LEE KALT made a special shoot out dedication and then proceeded to play DAVID BERRIE'S remix of the BEATLES, Dear Prudence.
SBE party goers mobbed the DJ booth all night for autographed CD's and flyers in praise of the set LEE KALT threw down making it obvious that the nights energy was something not often seen in Hollywood. The HMTV crew beta tested V-MODA'S VAMP together with the whit M80's on the 5 hour flight from LAX to Maui for the first ever HMTV live at CHARLEYS on Maui and LEE KALT's debut appearance in the Hawaii Islands. CHARLEYS, which is owned by Willy Nelson is famous for its live music and recently has recently been booking EDM acts. The girls in Maui pulled out their mini skirts and dusted off their high-heals to dress it up hot and sexy for the HOUSE MUSIC TV event. The party hosted by
world renowned surfer and wind-surfer, VIC MARCELLI, known to be one of the daring few who have ridden JAWS off Maui's North Shore, home to one of the largest waves on the planet.
Legendary MAUI DJ Marasco warmed it up as girl after girl filed in the door on after another. By the time LEE KALT took the stage at midnight the club seemed to have a higher ratio of girls then guys at the venue certainly making it an outstanding party, not just for Maui, but for anywhere. The HMTV / V-MODA Pacific Tour kicked off at San Francisco's best, trendiest and most well known restaurant, The SLANTED DOOR located on the waterfront in the Ferry Building. LEE KALT loves the food at SLANTED DOOR because of the chef CHARLES PHAN's generous use of two ingredients: Lemongrass & Lime. 
LEE KALT still had room at the end for the SLANTED DOOR's signature Cotton Candy Dessert which is actually paired with a special Port. LEE KALT commented about the genius of Cotton Candy being paired with a dessert wine. After dinner the festivities commenced at WISH where partiers reveled till the wee hours to the sound of a LEE KALT set played at 122 BPM (beats per minute). The promoters 
Before flying out to LA the HMTV crew stopped in for lunch at STEVEN SHMOOKLERS slick new culinary amusement on Lower Russian Hill. His GIOIA PIZZERIA & TRATTORIA is a new addition to the Russian Hill neighborhood and a breath of fresh air for the culinary scene in San Francisco. The chef worked from a rustic open kitchen looking out over the dinning room as these kitchens really are when you are in trattorias in Tuscany and Umbria.
Simple Italian classics served up with a local and organic edge tease and please the senses dish after dish. To a group of New Yorker's, pizza this good is not expected outside of the Tri Sate NYC area. GIOIA PIZZERIA & TRATTORIA is highly recommended by HMTV and will certainly be on our radar for future San Francisco shows.
